Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using FlowMail, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use this application.
2. Description of Service
FlowMail is an email organization tool. After you connect your Gmail account, you can create boards and rules (based on sender domain, labels, or keywords) to automatically sort messages, add to-dos linked to specific emails, and sync new messages into your boards. FlowMail accesses Gmail on a read-only basis — it does not send email, delete messages, or modify your labels on your behalf.
FlowMail also offers optional AI-assisted features (rule suggestions, board suggestions, and thread summaries) powered by Google Gemini. You may use FlowMail's shared AI access (subject to daily usage limits) or provide your own Gemini API key. AI features can be turned off at any time in AI settings.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Creation
To use our service, you must sign in with Google. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
3.2 Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time from within the app. This permanently removes your boards, board emails, rules, to-dos, AI settings, encryption keys, and stored Gmail tokens, and cannot be undone. We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate an account for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any illegal purpose
- Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
- Share your account credentials or your own AI API key with others
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
- Interfere with or disrupt the service, including circumventing AI usage limits
5. AI Features and Bring-Your-Own-Key (BYOK)
AI-assisted suggestions and summaries are generated using Google Gemini and may not always be accurate; you are responsible for reviewing any AI-generated rule, board, or summary before relying on it. If you provide your own Gemini API key, you are solely responsible for that key's validity, any usage charges billed by Google, and compliance with Google's terms for that key. We store BYOK keys encrypted and use them only to fulfill your AI requests within FlowMail.
6. Intellectual Property
The service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
7. Third-Party Services
Our service integrates with Google for sign-in and Gmail access, and with Google Gemini for AI features. By using our service, you agree to comply with Google's Terms of Service, available at:https://policies.google.com/terms
8. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, including any arising from AI-generated suggestions or summaries.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
